"BLINDNESS" – AN EYE OPENER

 'Light' is the most essential thing next to 'air', ' water', 'food'  and 'shelter'.  'Eyesight'  is the power to experience it, which is a 'blessing' and not an 'achievement'.  Eyesight is "granted" and not "acquired".  How is a person born blind responsible for being so?  It could have happened to you or your dearest.  Even a sighted could turn blind out of an accident or an illness.  If you realize this truth, reaching out to the Visually Challenged is not an act of 'charity'.
It is our moral obligation It is our social responsibility It is our duty 
Don’t turn a BLIND EYE to this reality…

Ignore their ‘disability’ and recognize their ‘abilities’
See them not as ‘disabled’…but as ‘differently abled’…
Don’t sympathise, for, eyesight is  not earned…
‘Disability’ is God given and ‘Handicap’ is man made….

Understand…Accept…Acknowledge…
Enable….Empower…Encourage…
Show them the way…Lead them from Darkness to Light…

Two eyes are more than sufficient for 2 persons together to cross the street if they hold their hands.

Let us hold hands and spread the word of love and understanding and thus make this world a better place.

 “HEART 2 HEART”, the Orchestra by the Visually Challenged has been thus formed to enable the talented to use their ability, namely “Music”.

“RCG-SRVC CENTRE” is a Resource Centre formed to empower the visually challenged youth to take up mainstream jobs.
